Debra Balamos is a Leadership Coach, Communication Strategist and faculty member at Otis College of Art and Design who works with media, tech and creatives on new growth opportunities. Some of her clients include TV executives, broadcast producers, media planners, digital producers, creative directors, social/web content creators, editors, marketing strategists, women's advocacy leaders, and arts advocates. 

For 20+ years Debra has demonstrated success in the entertainment industry and non profit sectors as a senior marketing executive and leader of teams.

In addition to her diverse background in entertainment, she is a certified professional leadership coach with credentials from the International Coaching Federation. As a Leadership Coach, she works one-on-one with leaders and teams around communication issues that come up in the workplace.  Current needs are often about  how to communicate, show up, learn, lead and grow during big  CHANGE.  Debra works with small companies and large corporations around these topics and other business / interpersonal skill building strategies.

Clients

Debra's worked in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles for Showtime Networks, Sundance Channel and multiple media companies leading teams and developing successful strategic marketing plans and distribution strategies for 20 years. She moved on to work with with other media clients  and non-profit organizations such as -  ABC /Disney, Viacom, Nickelodeon, Crown Media, Turner Networks, MTV, Ovation TV, The Independent Spirit Awards, Film Independent, The New York 92nd Street Y, The Entertainment Industry Foundation and multiple film festivals in an executive leadership coaching / consulting role. 

Debra lives and works in Santa Monica, CA.
